Visions

Visions is a per­sonal look into Greg Benavidez, a visu­ally impaired (95% blind) com­puter tech­ni­cian and teacher at The Braille Insti­tute in Santa Bar­bara, CA. What is the world like through the eyes of a blind per­son? Does he see all black? Is he help­less? Can he take con­trol of his life and over­come adver­sity? The film fol­lows Greg and his friend Sarah as they share their sto­ries, thoughts and feel­ings of what it was like to lose their eye sight com­pletely over a period of time, and how that has impacted who they are today in the world. Greg speaks openly about his life and the daily chal­lenges he has to overcome.
